Heart of the Shen Retreat

A lovingly created spring yoga retreat offering space to slow down, reconnect and gently nourish yourself. As we move into spring, this retreat invites rest, renewal and reflection in a calm, supportive setting.

West Barn Lodge is a beautiful country farmhouse set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Surrounded by rolling hills and open meadows, it offers a true sense of retreat — log fires to gather beside, quiet spaces to rest, and time to unwind in nature.

Throughout the weekend, you’ll experience a balanced blend of yang and yin yoga, guided meditation and breathwork, alongside practices designed to support self-compassion, grounding and connection. Everything is optional, and you’re encouraged to move at your own pace.

Moments of shared experience include a crystal singing bowl sound journey, gentle workshops, and an evening fire circle with ceremonial cacao under the stars. There is also plenty of space for stillness, journaling, quiet walks and rest.

From the moment you arrive, everything is taken care of — allowing you to step away from everyday life and fully settle into the experience.
